It's Game day at Nyayo National Stadium and the Leopards are already in the lead with a goal up. Leopard's Thiongo managed to set up Saad Musa at the edge of the box who later curled it in with a finesse shot in the 19th minute to make it 1-0. Earlier on in the 13th minute, Leopard's once again came close to hitting in the back of the net when a long range pass from Saad Musa found its way to Thiongo' feat who hit the crossbar after going past keeper Brian Bwire.
The Brewers have always struggled against Leopards, and last season the two sides shared the points as AFC won the first round meeting 1-0 before Tusker avenged with a 2-0 win.
