The African Golden Ball, who built a high school in his village, once again showed interest in the education of Bambali youth.

The African Golden Ball honored the best students of Bambali High School. Each received a computer and the sum of 250 thousand francs. After the construction of the school in 2019, this was another way for Mane to be more involved in the education of children in the region in the south of the country, in Casamance.

Sadio Mane, originally from Bambali, who is cited as an example across Africa is a hero to children across Senegal. The football player has always encouraged them to take their studies seriously in order to participate in the development of Bambali. He also built a hospital there.

Gestures are amplified at the hometown where he alone represents hope and the possibility of a better tomorrow.

Even with this incredible gesture, comes a big blow for the star's fitness. Sadio Mane is awaiting the results of an X-Ray after an injury scare on international duty with Senegal. The Liverpool forward appeared to hurt his rib in a clash with a defender during his nation's 1-1 draw with Togo in African qualifying for the World Cup.

Mane was substituted after 28 minutes, but Senegal coach Aliou Cisse said his withdrawal was merely precautionary.

Senegal have already qualified for next March's play-offs where Africa's five representatives at Qatar will be decided. Mane is expected to miss the beginning of 2022 for Liverpool as Senegal compete at the African Cup of Nations, which runs from 9 January to 6 February. He has scored eight goals in 15 appearances so far for the Reds.
