NSL Action to Resume on December 4 After Meeting With Caretaker Committee

Following a fruitful meeting between the FKF Caretaker Committee and the National Super League clubs (NSL) to chart the way forward regarding the resumption of the top-tier league, the Clubs agreed on the following resolutions;

1.The National Super League clubs agree to resume league on December 4, 2021.

2.Clubs nominated Daniel Magara (Kibera Black Stars), Nicholas Ochieng (Kisumu All Stars), Rose Chemutai (APS Bomet), Moses Adagala (Muhoroni Youth) to work closely with the FKF Caretaker Committee to ensure smooth resumption of the National Super League.

3.The National Super League Clubs resolved to support the Government initiative to install the FKF Caretaker Committee with a view to revamping football in the country.

The Clubs in attendance

APS Bomet, Fortune Sacco, Mombasa Elite, Zoo FC, Kibera Black Stars, Kisumu All Stars, Gusii United, Shabana, Muhoroni Youth, Mullys FC (MFC), Mara Sugar FC, Naivas FC, Silibwet FC, Migori Youth, SS Assad and Dandora Love.

The clubs that sent apology include; Vihiga United, Mwatate United.

The committee on November 12th suspended the FKF Premier League, FKF National Super League, FKF Division One, FKF Women Premier League and FKF Women’s Division for a period of two weeks to ensure regulation of football activities.

On NSL matches that have been played despite the suspension, they should be treated as friendly games.
