The FKF Premier league continued on Wednesday, December 8 with four matches played at different venues across the country.
The four matches had plenty of goals flying in apart from the early kick off between Nairobi City Stars and Nzoia Sugar.
Struggling Nzoia are winless in eight games in the season.
The early kick of the match saw Nairobi City Stars being held to a barren draw by Nzoia Sugar at the Ruaraka Grounds.
The draw means that Nzoia Sugar are winless in the first eight games of the season as City Stars are now level on points with Gor Mahia.
Sharks lose top spot
Police handed Kariobangi Sharks their second. In a game where at half time the scores were 1-1 Sharks in the second half were reduced to 10 men giving the police an advantage as they bagged two goals giving them their second win in the season.
Clinton Kananga gave Police a 15th minute lead as Patila Omotto equalised for Sharks.
Clifton Miheso put in a brace to win it for Police FC.
Present in the Match was former FKF president Nick Mwendwa who received orders from the court barring him from actively taking part in Kenyan football.
Kakamega Homeboyz top the league
Mathare United shared points away to Kakamega Homeboyz, a match that ended in a 2-2 draw. Kakamega Homeboyz were able to get a point, elevating them to top of the league with 17 points.
Mathare were leading by 2 goals for the better part of the match before two late goals from the hosts levelled the scores.
Brian Eshianda's 21st minute own goal and Eugene Wechuli's 64th minute finish gave Mathare the lead.
Yema Mwana grabbed an 80th minute response for Abana Abeingo before Sunday Mutuku scored a last minute goal which levelled matters
Wazito’s form continues
Wazito luckily beat Ulinzi Stars 1-0 on Sunday December 5 to earn their first maximum points of the season, however it was going to be tough against Sofapaka who had beaten Police FC 2-0.
Francis Kimanzi’s side continued their poor form in the season as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Sofapaka in Wundanyi.
