Kenya Pipeline Women volleyball team on Thursday continued their fine start at the African Clubs Championships with a comfortable 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-7) win over Ethiopia’s National Alcohol at Aissa Ben Nasr Arena here in Kelibia, Tunisia.

The six-time champions on Wednesday opened their campaign with a 3-0 win over ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire to mark their campaign on a positive note. The Oilers will now face AS Douanes of Burkina Faso on Friday at 6pm EAT before taking on 2017 champions Carthage of Tunisia.

Meanwhile, Kenya Prisons have stepped up preparations for Fridays match against hosts Sfax. This will be Prisons second game of Pool A and head coach David Lung’aho has said that the team must be at their best if they want to outclass the opponents.

“It is going to be a tough match because Sfax are the Tunisian champions and i’m sure they are playing very well.”

“For us now is just to focus and rectify our mistakes from the previous match for this will be the biggest match of this group,” Lung’aho said.
