
Kenya Ports Authority men's volleyball team have been eliminated from CAVB African championships after going down 3-1 (25-13, 22-25, 25-16, 25-13) to Egyptian giants Zamalek in the quarter-finals of the men's African Clubs Championship at the Zouaoui Indoor Arena in Tunis, Tunisia.
The Portmen making their debut at the tournament could not match the powerful Egyptians and the first set score line confirmed this.
The Kenyans would however recollect themselves and were rallied to clinch the second set 25-22. The third and fourth sets were however taken by the Egyptians whose experience was well displayed throught the match.
The win ensured that Zamalek reached their first ever semi-final since 2012. They will take on Swehly of Libya on Sunday 25 April.
