The Kenya Cup resumes this weekend with three matches on the cards.

The Ngong road derby will highlight the weekend’s action as Resolution Impala host Kenya Harlequins Club at the Impala Club. The Impalas will be making their first appearance in the Cup this season unlike Quins who already have two outings with them. The visitors will be hoping to overturn two previous losses to Menengai Oilers and KCB against Impala.

This match will be preceded by the clash between Mwamba and Blak Blad at the same venue. Mwamba are also making their first appearance of the season and will be up against a Blad side that started their season with a 13-8 loss away to Top Fry Nakuru before holding Menengai Oilers to a 12-12 draw in Nairobi.

Nakuru based Menengai Oilers will host to Top Fry Nakuru in the day’s third fixture. This Nakuru derby sees Top Fry looking to register their third win on the trot, having built on their win against Blad to stop Masinde Muliro 23-10 in Nakuru last weekend.

Five other teams, notably KCB, Kabras Sugar, Nondescripts, Masinde Muliro and Strathmore Leos will sit the weekend out, returning to action on match day four.
