The indomitable Lions will be led by head coach Rigobert Song, who hopes to have his team fit and ready for the crucial World Cup qualifier fixtures.

Onana is among the list of 22 players who received call up to the national team for the World Cup qualifiers.

It was yet to be established whether the 25-year-old goalkeeper would still feature for Cameroon against Algeria.

Reports noted that the goalkeeper was not injured after the horrific accident.

The Ajax shot stopper would later join his teammates at camp for their double fixture against Algeria.

Onana currently plays for Ajax but the goalkeeper refused to extend his contract and is expected to join the Italian side Inter Milan.

During his time at Ajax, Onana was hit with a nine months ban over doping violations.
