German giants Bayern Munich splashed Ksh 37.9 million(€300k) to acquire the services of a 13-year-old Ghanaian prodigy.

Mike Wisdom was signed from German Club Borussia Monchengladbach and will be included in Bayern's Under-15s from next season.

Wisdom will earn a junior salary at Bayern where the under 15s players earn a maximum of Ksh 50,358 (£333) per month.

The young talented footballer has been described as an exceptional talent with Bayern having scouted him for more than a year and a half.

The 13-year-old plays as a striker and has the ability to use both feet making him a danger to many backlines.

Wisdom was born in Germany, however, the young footballer can still represent Ghana and Nigeria at the international level.

His parents will also benefit from the signing as the club can negotiate individually with them on his contract details.

The parents will also receive relocation allowances as the young star earns his junior salary.

Borussia Monchengladbach director Roland Virkus was, nonetheless, irked by the deal which he labelled unpleasant.

“Such deals are anything but beneficial for German football, it's distasteful", Virkus noted.

According to the regulations, the transfer will take effect when the transfer window opens and when Wisdom turns 14 he can sign a junior agreement with FC Bayern.
