Former Harambee Stars head coach Jacob 'Ghost' Mulee has reveled what Kenya's captain Michael Olunga takes homes in form of salary at Al Duhail.
Speaking at a school in Nairobi, Mulee revealed Olunga’s salary as he went on to encourage parents to support students in realising their dreams.
“Today, I think Michael is the highest-paid player in East and Central Africa, you can google his salary. I did that on Sunday and he's getting Ksh 83 million a year.
“Well, it is not about the money it is about the passion of what you want to do, to the parents who are here you have a son or daughter who wants to sing, become a fashion designer and support them,” Mulee noted.

The ex-tactician also noted that he discovered Olunga when he was 12 years old as he enrolled at his academy known as Liberty academy.
The former Harambee stars coach noted that at some point Olunga disappeared from the academy only to find out that he had been taken to a school in the rural area.
“Unfortunately when Olunga was 13 he disappeared from the academy and I wondered where he had gone to. I found out that the parents had taken him to a school in the village so that he does not play football.
“They wanted him to concentrate on his studies as three of his siblings were all graduates and the mother wanted the same for Olunga.
Mulee noted that he went to Olunga’s mother and convinced her that despite wanting the footballer to graduate he still has talent which needs to be nurtured.
Olunga studied at Upper Hill for his high school studies where he scored an A and proceeded to pursue engineering.
