Kenya Morans star forward Ariel Okall on Saturday penned down a deal with Ugandan side  KIU Titans after sporting activities were halted in Oman where he used to feature for AlBashaer Basketball Club.

Okall will be making a return to the National Basketball League of Uganda (NBL) for the second time after featuring at Falcons six years ago before departing to Oman.

He joined the Omani AlBashaer Basketball Club in February after helping Kenya qualify for the 2021 Afrobasket for the first time in 28 years.

AlBashaer was Okall's third club in Oman after having previously featured for Ahli Sidab in his first professional club back in 2015 for a two year deal that saw the contract expire in 2017.

He returned to the country in 2019 where he played for Dhafor for one season before coming back to Kenya and rejoining his home-club Kenya Ports Authority (KPA).

Okall has currently shifted his focus on sailing his team KIU Titans into winning the Uganda National Basketball league and defines the club as a good team and good place to play in.

KIU Titans are currently eighth placed in the 2021 NBL standings that just got started with two points after playing only one match. City Oilers lead the standings with six points.

While in Oman the towering Kenyan international averaged 21 points per game in and he will be looking forward  to replicating that when he makes his first appearance for the Titans  on Sunday.
