
Since the establishment of the Premier League in 1992 as the English First Division competition only seven clubs have not been relegated from the league.
The clubs include Brighton and Hove Albion, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea.
Brighton are the new addition to that number as they first featured in the Premier League in the 2017/2018 season.

The Seagulls have been previously featured in the top division for four seasons that is the pre-Premier League era between1979 until 1983.
Among the seven clubs, Arsenal have the strongest history in England's top division, having last been relegated in the 1912/1913 season.
Everton who are on the brink of relegation in the 2021/2022 season come second after Arsenal having featured in the top flight league.
The Toffees were relegated from the top flight last in the 1950-51 campaign before being promoted back in 1954.
Liverpool are third in the teams that have stayed longest in top flight league having featured since the 1962-63 season.
The last time Manchester United were relegated from the top flight was in the 1973-74 season, before making their return in the 1975/1976 season.
Tottenham last faced relegation from England's top league in the 1976/1977 season before making a return to the First Division in the 1978/1979 season.
Chelsea were last relegated in 1987/1988 after losing a relegation play-off tie with Middlesbrough. The Blues made their return back to the top flight after winning the Second Division in 1988/1989.
In the 2021/2022 Premier League season three teams among Norwich, Watford, Burnley, Everton and Leeds will bid the Premier League goodbye.
