21-year-old Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland, has bid farewell to Borussia Dortmund after his last game in Bundes Liga.

The Manchester City-bound striker waved his emotional goodbye to Dortmund on Saturday, May 14.

Haaland’s exit this summer was expected due to a release clause in his contract.

His supporters will witness the long-awaited move to Premier League side, Manchester City, followed a £51.25 million release clause.

The deal to take Erling Haaland from Dortmund to Manchester City will be officially confirmed by either club in the course of the week.

Haaland leaves the Bundesliga side with a record 86 goals in 89 match appearances.

At Dortmund, he appeared in 29 matches in all competitions and scored 28 goals for the German outfit.

Dortmund officials also gave Haaland a big send-off by presenting him with flowers and a picture saying "Thanks Erling".

The 21-year-old had been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona moves but opted to make the switch to the Premier League.

By joining City, he will follow in his father's footsteps.

It is a day of farewells for the German giants, who also bis farewell to Marcel Schmelzer, Axel Witsel, Roman Burki, Dan-Axel Zagadou, and Marwin Hitz.

Defender Schmelzer has spent his entire professional career at Dortmund and was pictured crying as he waved to fans before the exit.
