
As is the tradition in football, there are transfers and new signings of players at the end of every season. Some change teams in the same league while others cross the border to other different leagues.
As the 2021/22 season of the English Premier League comes to an end on Sunday, May 22 Belgian star of Kenyan origin Divock Origi and three other stars have confirmed their exit from the English Premier League (EPL).

Divock Origi-Liverpool
The Belgian-born Liverpool forward of Kenyan origin is set to leave the Reds as manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed on May 20. The 27-year-old will leave the club this summer, with the forward expected to join AC Milan when his contract expires. Origi has earned superstar status after spending half a decade at Anfield.
"He's one of the most important players I ever had. Wherever he will go he will be successful, 100 per cent," commented coach Jurgen Klopp.
Paul Pogba -Manchester United
Manchester United acting manager Ralf Rangnick confirmed that Pogba will not play for the rest of the season after sustaining an injury early on in the 4-0 defeat at Liverpool. The star has received contract offers from Spain's Real Madrid and home side PSG.
The midfielder reportedly told his teammates he would leave at the end of the season and also left the team's WhatsApp group. The 29-year-old Frenchman leaves after 20 match appearances and a single goal in the 2021/22 season.
Fernando Luiz Roza- Manchester City
Fernandinho, as he is popularly known, confirmed he was not interested in extending his contract at Etihad Stadium.
The 37-year-old veteran captain will bid farewell to the Sky blue side of Manchester to head back to a Brazillian team he has not clarified on.
“Yes, I want to play," he said, "I will go back to Brazil, for sure. I've decided with my family, it's the most important for me,” stated the midfielder in a press interview.
Antonio Rudiger- Chelsea
The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel confirmed the defender was on his way out of Stamford Bridge. The German international's contract expired in May 2022 ahead of the 2021/22 EPL season.
Real Madrid and PSG have been linked with the 29-year-old with his agent already having talks with Barcelona. Rudiger's exit will see the end of his 5 year period as Chelsea's phenomenal attacker.
