Manchester United's forward Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, met with new Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, sparking rumours that the sensational player may move to the North-London team before the window period expires.
According to an international news outlet, The Athletic, the discussions were based on the idea of Ronaldo's state at the club, reflecting on his displeasure over the club's lack of transfers during the window.
Currently, Ronaldo has twelve months still left in his contract at Old Trafford.

Mendes however, detailed that his client doesn't have a problem with Man United's new coach, Erik ten Hag, who is perceived to reclaim the Red Devils' lost glory.
German giants, Bayern Munich, are also reported to express interest in the 37-year-old ace though no formal bids have been issued.
Currently, United is in talks of securing Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong and free agent Christian Eriksen, though the talks are reported to have stalled.
Critics argue that Ronaldo will want to play at the highest level, hence the player will weigh his options as the transfer window comes to a close on September 1, 2022.
Ronaldo rejoined Man Utd on a Ksh722 million deal last summer on a two-year deal. The Portuguese however, took a huge pay cut, from Ksh115 million a week in salary at his time in Juventus to Ksh64 million a week in Man Utd.
The club finished sixth, eleven points behind EPL giants, Arsenal, and dropping out of monumental cups such as Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Champions League and failed to qualify for next season's UCL.
Sky Sports have recently reported that Juventus have closed in and are finalising on Paul Pogba who's expected to officially sign the contract on July 1, 2022.
The deal is arguably touted as Pogba's last resort to play in top-level competitions at the tail end of his career.
