Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag disclosed on Monday, July 11, that Cristiano Ronaldo was in his plans and the club was not willing to sell him this transfer window.
The Portuguese international shocked many Red Devils fans when he was not included in United’s squad that is currently in Bangkok, Thailand for the pre-season tour.
Ten Hag has refuted claims that the club wants to part ways with Ronaldo, insisting that they would win trophies with him.

“He has not told me this. I have read, but as I say, Cristiano is not for sale, he is in our plans and we want to get success together.
I spoke with him before this issue came up. I had a conversation with him and had a real good talk.” Sky Sports reports.
According to Melissa Reddy, a senior Sky Sports news reporter, Manchester United are planning to use the former Real Madrid player as their main striker this coming season.
“Erik ten Hag has reiterated the club's stance that Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale and is very much part of his plans. The club have planned the campaign with him as their focal point of the attack," the sports journalist revealed.

"What's very interesting, though, is that the manager indicated that he had spoken to Ronaldo but not since the issue has arisen. Ronaldo's family indicated that he wants to leave the club if a suitable offer comes in. So, since that, no discussions have taken place between the manager and Ronaldo, which was a very fascinating element,” Reddy opined.
Reigning German champions Bayern Munich and Chelsea are some of the clubs that are believed to be interested in acquiring the services of the 37-year-old who still has a contract with Manchester United.
Napoli, Paris Saint Germain, and Barcelona are also understood to be interested in the 2016 UEFA European Football Championships winner.
