
The jersey worn by Cristiano Ronaldo in his last Manchester United appearance was auctioned for £39,000 (approximately Ksh 560,000).
Ronaldo wore the shirt in Manchester United’s 3 -1 loss to a rejuvenated Aston Villa side on Sunday, November 6.
The jersey which was donated to the Royal British Legion was auctioned online with bidders from different regions of the world trying their luck to have their hands on it.

In an interview with a renowned British media personality Piers Morgan, the Portuguese star stated that he does not respect Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus player added that the facilities at the club are of lower quality and that he hopes Arsenal win the Premier League title this season.
He also spoke about former teammates, particularly Wayne Rooney, divulging that the latter is jealous of him.
After Ronaldo’s revelations, the club issued a statement stating that they will give a way forward in the near future.
His time at Old Trafford is expected to come to an end in the upcoming January transfer window.
Ronaldo is currently with the Portuguese national team ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup which kicks off on Sunday, November 20 evening.
