
The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) has issued three conditions that clubs wishing to take part in the Division Two National League must meet.
According to a press release dated Tuesday, November 12, the federation’s organizing secretary, Ismail Chege indicated that interested clubs must pay an administration fee of Ksh20,000.
They are also required to pay an affiliation fee and extra cash for the registration of players.

The affiliation fee is Ksh10,000 while each player will have to part ways with Ksh 300 in order to be registered.
KVF further added that a requisite fee must be paid for stars who played for other clubs in the past season.
“The club is also required to pay a requisite transfer fee for each of those players in case they were registered with other clubs during the last season.
“Transfer fee payable for players who played for the national team is Ksh 20,000, while for all other players is Ksh 10,000 per player respectively,” part of the statement from KVF read.
Elsewhere, Uasin Gishu County is scheduled to host the Eldoret City Volleyball tournament between Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4.
The tournament has attracted more than 60 clubs from within Kenya and other countries such as Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.
The event which has been described as one of its kind will take place at the Eldoret Sports Club.
Malkia Strikers head coach Paul Bitok is among the individuals who drafted the blueprint for the tournament.
