Kenya Police Appoints Francis Baraza as New Coach

Kenya Police FC has appointed Francis Baraza as the new first-team head coach, after parting ways with Sammy 'Pamzo' Omolo. 

The new Kenya Police head coach was appointed on Tuesday, November 6,  having parted ways with Kagera Sugar FC of Tanzania. 

According to reports it's understood that Pamzo was relieved of his duties due to the latest poor performance from the team.

The Law enforcers have had quite a bad start in their new season having lost two matches in a row against Kakamega Homeboyz and KCB. 

Baraza has previously coached Western Stima, Sony Sugar, Muhoroni Youth, Chemelil Sugar FC, and Biashara United. 

During his time at Sony Sugar, he helped the side win the league in 2006. 

On Saturday, December 3, Harambee Stars' most capped player, Musa Otieno stepped down from his role as Police FC's assistant coach. 

Musa Otieno resigned after their 1-0 loss to KCB having joined the law enforcers in March 2022, alongside Pamzo. 

Kenya Police FC is positioned 14th in the 2022/2023 FKF Premier League season with a game in hand.
