A video circulating showing Cameroon’s football federation president Samuel Eto’o in a physical altercation with a man recording him sparked an uproar.
The said man, identified as 'Sadouni SM' on social media platforms, filed a legal complaint against Eto’o.
The Algerian YouTuber claimed to be a victim of physical aggression and property damage through a recording on his page.

He further noted that he suffered several injuries, with his camera and microphone getting destroyed.
The vlogger also asked witnesses who saw the altercation to go forward and testify on his behalf.
“By God, good people, this is not for fame or tarnishing his reputation, he hit me, and I have a video that is forbidden to publish even after an investigation.
"We are making a video on it, and we hope to publish it so that I can get justice,” part of the statement read.
The video taken on December 5, after Brazil's 4-1 win over South Korea, showed that the incident occurred outside Stadium 974.
In the video, Eto’o took photos with fans before assaulting the individual, recording him with a camera.
The 41-year-old was seen chasing the individual before other public members attempted to restrain him.
However, Eto’o freed himself and knocked the man in the face, pushing him to the ground.
Eto’o explained the incident through a statement on his socials where he apologised for losing his temper.
The former Barcelona forward added that in the future he would continue to resist the relentless provocation and daily harassment of some Algerian supporters.
He revealed that since the match between Cameroon and Algeria on March 29, in Blida, he has been the target of insults and allegations of cheating without any evidence.
Eto’o also revealed that during this World Cup, Cameroonian fans have been harassed and bothered by Algerians on the same subject.
The Cameroonian federation president went on to call on the Algerian authorities and federation to take responsibility to put an end to the unhealthy climate before a more serious tragedy occurs.
“To Fennecs’ fans, I wish that they find peace and manage to overcome the disappointment of a painful defeat, now behind us,” Eto’o stated.
