
Former Real Madrid star Mesut Ozil lauded English forward Bukayo Saka for his eye-catching displays during their narrow 2-1 defeat in the hands of defending champions France.
Ozil, who won a FIFA World Cup title with Germany in 2014, took to social media to congratulate his former Arsenal teammate for the heroic performance.
According to Ozil, Saka should raise his head high because he has a bright future.

“You don’t need to feel ashamed, team England. A strong performance against the current world champion.
“Good defending against Mbappe and Co., but France was very effective as always.
“Great game from my brother Bukayo Saka - the future belongs to you,” read a statement from Ozil.
Goals from AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud and Aurelien Tchouameni were enough to send France to their second consecutive world cup semifinal.
Harry Kane scored a goal for England in the 54th minute but missed a crucial penalty deep into the second half to dim the Three Lions' chances of lifting the coveted trophy.
At the age of 21, Saka has already represented England at both the FIFA World Cup and the delayed UEFA EUROS 2020 finals.
The pacey forward scored three goals at the Qatar World Cup with two of them coming in their group match against Iran.
France is set to play African representatives Morocco in a semifinal scheduled for Wednesday, December 14.
