
Karim Benzema's agent has disclosed information claiming that France head coach Didier Deschamps had a rift during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In an online statement, the football agency representing Benzema accused Deschamps of sending the Real Madrid striker away despite not having a serious injury.
He also shared a video showing that the former France international striker was fit to play from the round of 16 onwards.

“I put that there but before that, I consulted three specialists who confirm the diagnosis that Benzema could have been fit from the last 16 to at least be on the bench!
“Why did you ask him to leave so quickly?” his statement read.
Benzema was initially named in France’s squad for the 2022 World Cup but picked up a thigh injury while at the team's camp just days before the tournament kick-off.
The 35-year-old striker was sent home after picking up the injury but reports claimed Benzema’s injury was not serious enough to rule him out of the whole World Cup.
Despite the reports, Deschamps did not reconsider calling back the 35-year-old Balon D’Or winner.

After France lost the finals to Argentina during the World Cup final on penalties he announced his retirement from international football.
Benzema is back with his club Real Madrid as the team prepares for the return of La Liga with Madrid set to face Valladolid on December 30, 2022.
