AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems issued a message targeted to his detractors after Ingwe’s 2 - 0 win against coastal-based side Bandari FC on Sunday, January 22.
Ingwe’s goals were scored by Clifford Nyakeya and Ojo Olaniyi in a match played at the Mbaraki Sports Ground in Mombasa.
In a statement issued on Monday morning, January 23, Aussems stated that individuals should reason before making opinions.

“After 10 matches AFC has 14 points; last season after 10 matches we had 9 points, so we have fifty percent more!
“I agree people should think before talking. So I told my players, don't let someone who's never been in your shoes tell you how to tie your laces! Keep going, guys!” he ended.
Aussems endured a difficult time at the helm of AFC Leopards this season, with some of the fans questioning his abilities.
However, the former Simba SC manager continued backing his players, even when supporters turned against some of the members of the squad.
In a previous fixture against Wazito FC played a week earlier, the Belgian tactician had urged Leopards’ fans to get behind their young guns.
“Too many individual mistakes in the last 2 games! But mistakes are part of the game.
“So I will keep supporting and protecting my young team again and again. I hope real Ingwe fans will do the same,” Aussems stated then.
AFC Leopards currently occupied the eighth position in the Kenya Premier League log, nine points behind league leaders Tusker FC.
The club has won four matches, lost a similar number of games, and picked up two draws.
Ingwe is scheduled to play Police FC on Wednesday, January 25, at the Nyayo National Stadium.
