Algerian goalkeeper Alexis Guendouz has registered three clean sheets in three games. Similar to his goalkeeper Algeria defender Chouaib Keddad also has the same amount of clean sheets.

Houssem Mrezigue of Algeria was chosen for his ability to track back and regain possession and control of the game.

Following Algeria with many players on the list is Angola with two players. Right back, Eddie Afonso provided his country with an assist for the first goal.

The other spot was taken by Gilberto in the forward position.

Niger central defender, Ismael Souley was named in the squad for his ability to communicate and prevent opposing players from scoring.

According to the TSG, the central defenders were chosen for their movement on and off the ball.

At left back is Cheikh Sidibe of Senegal, present for his modern-day execution of this role.

“He is fast, intentional and precise in his runs and has the ability to swing in crosses from the left that causes problems for the opposition,” the report highlighted.

The other two positions in the midfield were occupied by Senegal’s Lamine Camara and Madagascar’s Solomampionona Razafindranaivo.

Joining Angolas Gilberto as forwards is Jonathan Ikangalombo of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ivory Coasts 19-year-old Sankara Karamoko.
