Both Chelsea co-owners were the brains behind what is seen as a good transfer window for the Blues.

Behdada and Boehly have been conducting the winter transfer business themselves without sending representatives.

Behdad Eghbali is an American businessman who cofounded Clearlake Capital in 2006 with Jose E. Feliciano, a private equity firm based in Santa Monica, California.

Eghbali was born in Iran before he moved to the United States with his family as a child.

According to the company's report, it has more than $70 billion (Ksh8.7 trillion) in assets under management.

In May 2022, Clearlake Capital joined billionaire investor Todd Boehly and several others in the $3 billion (Ksh373 billion) purchase of Chelsea FC.

Boehly is a co-founder of the holding company Eldridge after he acquired some of the organistations first assets from Guggenheim, including insurer Security Benefit, which provides deal financing.

The 49-year-old American businessman holds minority stakes in other sports entities including the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Dodgers.

With the transfer window closed, the owners will be hopeful that the signings made would have a major impact on the team.

Chelsea is positioned 10th in the Premier League table and will be hoping to turn around their poor start in the first half of the season.
