“ I could hear things falling in the kitchen. Initially, I thought it was my roommate who was cooking or something,” she told Nation.
Adhiambo further stated that she could not sleep after what had happened.
She added that their club organized for all the players to sleep in the same facility after the incident to ensure their safety.
“On Monday noon, we experienced another tremor but it was not as intense as the earlier one.
“Yesterday (Monday) night, all players were told to sleep at the team’s office just as a safety measure to ensure we are all together in case of anything,” revealed Adhiambo.
The one-time Kenya Pipeline player added that their matches for this weekend has been cancelled.
On Tuesday, the Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan declared a state of emergency that will last for three months. He had earlier announced a seven-day of mourning.
Meanwhile, Kenya's Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Alfred Mutua, urged Kenyans to donate the little they have to help the affected in the two countries.
“We join the international community in praying and condoling with our brothers and sisters in Turkey and Syria.
“I call upon Kenyans who are able, to join hands, in extending material support that would alleviate human suffering such as foodstuff, clothing, financial and medical stuff among others,” stated Dr Mutua.
