Harambee Stars have stepped up preparation for the upcoming friendly matches against South Sudan and Tanzania.

Stars will play a total of five matches this in March, three friendly matches and two Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers in what is a busy month for many national teams.

Stars will play South Sudan on March 13, 2021, in the first friendly, and then host Tanzania in back-to-back matches to be played on March 15, 2021, and March 18, 2021, in Nairobi.

Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee’s Stars  will then host Egypt on March 22, 2021, before traveling to Togo on March 30, 2021, for the final qualifying rounds of the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations.

Local-based players reported to camp on Sunday, February 28, 2021 and will be joined by the foreign contingent later on next week. Bidco keeper Omar ‘Zamu’ Adisa is the latest call up to the national team and has already attended two training sessions at the Nyayo National Stadium.

With qualification to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations seemingly impossible, Coach Jacob “Ghost” Mulee will be using the matches to prepare for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers that get underway in June 2021.

He will be looking to make it to the final squad that is set to play three friendly matches against South Sudan and Tanzania, as well as two Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Egypt and Togo.
