It's a beautiful and even wonderful day for Patrick Matasi who has had his Ksh 429,000 Hospital Bill cleared by Harambee Stars team mate, Michael Olunga. Matasi, the Harambee Stars goal-keeper was involved in a horrible road accident at Kapsabet on his way to Nairobi from Kakamega.
Olunga paid a visit to Matasi at the Kakamega Referral Hospital where he settled the hefty bill.
The AL Duhail Striker said that Matasi was indeed a good friend and all in all, he wished him and his family a speedy recovery. More to this, Olunga had also partnered up with Odibets in clearing the hospital bill.
At the time of the accident, Matasi was in the company of his wife who suffered a double foot fracture and his two-year old son who sustained a shoulder injury.
Matasi is currently a free agent after ending his contract with St.George of Ethiopia and has his eyes set for a probable move to Mainland Premier League Champions Simba SC. The 33 year old shot-stopper has played for AFC Leopards, Posta Rangers and Tusker FC before being signed by the Ethiopian side back in 2018.
