Five days after missing out on a chance to represent the country in the CAF Confederations Cup, third placed AFC Leopards will be in action in the Betking Premier League to take on Bandari FC.

Ugandan William Wadri was the destroyer-in-chief in the first leg when he scored two quick fire goals in the first leg to give the Dockers a vital 2-1 win in Mombasa.

Coming into the match, Ingwe will be largely be looking to get their house back in order after the heartbreaking loss of tasting defeat in the cup final against their bitter rivals, and thus passing up the chance to represent the country in the continental CAF Confederation Cup.

The 13-time champions  will also be seeking to put aside a poor run of that has seen them collect only one win in the last five games where they have lost three and draw one, a dismal performance by all means for a club of Ingwe’s stature.

In the last five meetings, Bandari have won two while Ingwe have managed only one win, the remaining two ending in draws.

Ingwe will once again look upon Elvis Rupia for goals. The Kenya International already has fourteen goals this season, four behind Kariobangi Sharks Eric Kapaito.

The Dockers on the other hand will hope Wadri, who has nine goals, can replicate his first leg heroics and help them complete the double over the Leopards.

The match kicks off at 3pm at Thika Stadium.
