Harambee Stars head coach Jacob Ghost Mulee has caused a stir after he posted a photo of himself that captured him recovering in a hospital in india.
The tactician hit the social media platforms to assure all his fans that all was well with him after he underwent a surgery whose details still remain scanty.
Mulee took over from Francis Kimanzi who had overseen a number of fixtures with the national team including two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Togo and Egypt.
Mulee came and led Kenya during a home game against Comoros where they were held to a 1-1 draw in Kasarani Nairobi. His second game was the qualifier in Moroni, where Harambee Stars were beaten 2-1 and saw their chances of qualifying for the 2022 Afcon finals become slim.
The 52 year old national team tutor has steered harambee stars into victory in a couple of games in the recent past matches though the team failed to secure a spot at the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Kenya faced South Sudan and Tanzania in mid-March for friendlies ahead of continental duties and drew against the former before beating neighbours Taifa Stars 2-1 in Nairobi.
They later went ahead and hosted Egypt in a fixture that saw both teams share points before travelling to Lome and beating the visitors 2-1 in their home turf.
After his full recovery from his ailment the Coach will be expected to resume his duty on steering the national side into the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
