Modi noted that when he got the offer, he consulted his family and accepted the offer.
"To be honest I was afraid that after a wide consultation I took the offer. It came at a time when the pandemic had struck the nation and the Kenyan Premier League had been suspended so I had to move,” Moody stated.
He noted that in Somalia the footballers are given special protection and that areas, where the sport takes place, are always under tight security.
"We have no issues with security. Players stay in very secure places and we have never had any attacks within the football areas since I relocated."
In terms of infrastructure, the midfielder pointed out that Somalia was more organised than Kenya. He added that the country treasures football and treats the professionals with the most respect.
He also highlighted that in Kenya there are many challenges affecting the footballers in the local leagues such as low pay and contract issues.
“They value and love football and even how players are treated is way better. The pay is good and it gets better if you perform well," he noted.
