Former Wazito, Sofapaka and Nakumatt coach Melis Medo has tendered his resignation letter as he exits his role at Tanzania Premier League Side Coastal Union.
Medo has had it rough lately, losing all of his last five matches in charge. Coastal Union have only scored twice in the five matches while conceding ten goals.
His latest match, played on Saturday, February 19, ended in a 2-0 loss to Geita Gold. The match was the final nail on Medo’s coffin.

It's his resignation, however, that caught the attention of many. The note, posted on his Instagram account, struck a defeated tone.
“Thanks to all the ghosts. Thanks for fighting success. I’ve had enough. You win. I am so tired and I’m so done,” read the resignation note.
Medo joined Coastal Union in August 2021, at the start of the 2021/22 season, on a two-year deal. He has been in charge in 15 matches, only winning four of them. He has overseen five draws and six losses.
