Ex-leopards Chairman Alex Ole Magelo has been hospitalised in ICU in a city hospital and the family of the former Speaker of Nairobi County Assembly dismissed rumours about his death.
His wife Lucy Muthoni Magelo, narrated that the former Leopards chairman is responding well to treatment at a city hospital where he has been under good care of doctors and receiving treatment for several days.
Magelo became AFC Leopards back in 2011 taking over from Julius Ochiel who was forcefully evicted from the club by angry fans.
The former AFC Leopards boss quit the club in 2013 stating that the club was chained under sabotage and unhealthy politics within the club officials and some of its affiliates.
After leaving the club , Magelo decided to take a turn in his career and step foot into politics where he worked as the Speaker of the Nairobi County Assembly, for 5 years where his regime lasted from 2013 to 2017.
The family of the former Ingwe boss did not disclose Magelo's ailment despite rumors spreading that he had contacted Covid 19 however the family confirmed that he was not in good condition.
