AFC Leopards Coach to Return in The Country From Belgium Next Week

AFC Leopards coach Patrick Aussems will resume his duties next week, the club has confirmed. 

Patrick Aussems who left the country on April 1 has been coordinating with the rest of the technical bench led by Thomas Juma to sharpen his charges ahead of the resumption scheduled for May 12.

The Belgian has already received his second jab of the Covid-19 vaccine in readiness for the return of Football Kenya Federation Premier League action.

The tactician announced on his Twitter account  that he was going to Belgium for a mini-holiday but assured Ingwe fans he was going to return and help the club secure their first league title in 23 years.

Returned yesterday at noon from Kenya , vaccinated at 4pm ! Thanks to my doctor and to my city of Bellegarde , Gard in France ! After the 2d injection in few days , I can't wait to be back in Nairobi and finish the job in order to bring a trophy to AFC Leopards !” he wrote on Twitter.

The Leopards play the first match of the project restart when they host bottom side Mathare United at Kasarani stadium on May 12 at 1pm.
