The postponed Premier League fixture with Manchester United and Liverpool  has been rescheduled for Thursday May 13.

The decision means second placed United must play two games in the space of 50 hours as their home game against Leicester has been moved forward to Tuesday, May 11.

Thousands of United supporters on Sunday demonstrated against the Glazer family's ownership at Old Trafford and the team hotel prior to the Liverpool game forcing its abandonment.

They start their congested fixture schedule on Thursday May 6 with a Europa League semi-final return leg against Roma then travel to Villa Park to face Dean Smith's Aston Villa.

A date against Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City beckons on Tuesday May 11 with the rescheduled fixture against Liverpool completing the matrix on Thursday next week.
