
Ghana's national team has added five new recruits who are now eligible to play in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup.
The five players who have switched their nationalities include Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey, Athletic Bilbao forward Iñaki Williams, Patric Pfeiffer, Stephan Ambrosius and Ransford-Yeboah.
The availability of these players was announced by Ghana Football Association president, Simeon Edwin Okraku.

According to the Ghana FA, the decision to have the players join the Black Stars came after very intense consultations between the GFA leadership, the players and their parents.
“The GFA is delighted to announce that Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Stephan Ambrosius, Ransford Yeboah and Patric Pfeiffer are now available for selection by the Ghana Blackstars Technical Team,” the statement read.
The Ghana FA president noted that they will continue to scout players abroad in order to improve their squad.
We have always maintained that we will not limit ourselves to a small group of players but would scout top talent across the globe who are ready to sacrifice for the nation and to take us to the next level.
According to the country's football president, the choice to scout players from all over will help the technical bench have more options to choose from.
Coach Otto Addo and his technical team monitor and assess them for future assignments including the September games and FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
