Sports journalist Walid Farouk has revealed that AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic charged a fellow journalist over Ksh200,000 for a photo.

Walid noted that during the time when Zlatan was in Dubai, he jokingly requested Ksh131,718 from Al Nasr SC media as payment for a photo.

Additionally, it was revealed that once the media officer notified Zlatan that he knew one of his friends the AC Milan striker added the charges.

“My respected friend Mohamed Sarhan asked the star Zlatan Ibrahimovic to take a photo with him while Milan was in Dubai. Zlatan jokingly replied to him and asked him to pay Ksh131,718 (1,000 euros) to take a picture with him.

“Muhammad told him that he is from Egypt, the country of his friend, the star Ahmed Hossam Mido, but the surprise was that when Zlatan knew this, he said: For Mido, you will pay Ksh263,453 (2000 euros).

The 41-year-old striker is never shy of controversies during his long football career from training ground fist fights to on-field fights.

Recently, he commented on Cristiano Ranaldo's exit from Manchester United, noting that it would be impossible to know the truth about what happened.

He added that with Ronaldo's situation, the statement made by the Portuguese star and the Manchester United manager aimed at shielding everyone.

“Then the club states things – not like me, I will tell you how it really happened. But we are all different. Everybody is careful about their image.

“For me, the perfect image is being yourself. The true story we will not know my friend,” Ibrahimovic was quoted by the Daily Mail.
