
The Kenya Women’s Beach volleyball team will face Nigeria, Cape Verde and DR Congo in the Africa Continental Cup that kicks off on Tuesday in Agadir, Morocco. The Men’s team has meanwhile been placed in Pool B alongside Mali, Nigeria and Mali.
The Kenyan teams will be smiling to the serve after they all tested negative for Covid-19. The women’s team features Gaudencia Makokha and Brackcides Agala, as Phoscah Kasisi and Yvonne Wavinya form the other pair.
The men’s team has Ibrahim Oduori, James Mwaniki, Brian Melly and Enock Mogeni.
Hosts Morocco men's team will face off giants Tunisia winners of the 2016 Continental cup and Sudan in Pool A while the Moroccan women’s will battle in Pool A against Gambia, Rwanda and Sudan.
15 men teams and 10 women teams will battle for the African title and a sole berth for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
