Three matches were played on Thursday with record champions Gor Mahia moving to top spot in the league, dislodging Kakamega Homeboyz from top spot. 

Fresh from their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup, Gor Mahia made several changes as they took on bottom placed Vihiga Bullets at Bukhungu Stadium.

K’Ogalo thrashed the homeside 3-0 to ammase their point tally to 17. The ‘fresh players’ who were introduced to the squad included the likes of George "Blackberry" Odhiambo who put in his first goal of the season as Peter Lwassa and Boniface Omondi netted the other two goals. 

Struggling Leopards Get Second win of the Season 

AFC leopards bounced back from a previous 1-0 defeat by Bidco United as they won against Posta Rangers at the Nyayo Stadium. 

A spectacular freekick from their full back Washington Munene in the 25th minute put the leopards at the lead. 

The win has helped AFC go up the table from 16th to 13th with 7 points from seven matches played so far as Vihiga Bullets still struggle at the bottom of the table with no win yet. 

Bandari ,KCB Ends in a Goalless Draw 

KCB continued their unbeaten streak in six matches as they drew 0-0 with Bandari in the FKF Premier League clash at the Mbaraki Sports Club on Thursday, December 9. 

KCB in their last six fixtures have been able to get five wins and one draw putting them at fourth position in the league. 

Bandari are in seventh position with one loss, three wins and two draws in their past six matches.
