According to West Ham manager David Moyes has clarified that Kurt Zouma will be available to play for the London side against Leicester on Sunday, February 13.

Zouma will feature for West Ham despite his troubles after a disturbing video of him kicking his cat across his kitchen floor.

The said cats were taken away by the RSPCA after the video of him kicking the pet went viral on Monday, February 7.

"Yes, he's available to play against Leicester. There are different views and opinions on whether he should be available. We as a club took that decision and I stand by that.

"I don't think the club could take more action or any quicker. West Ham have fined him the maximum wages. We all accept the actions are terrible and diabolical, but we've chosen to play him and we stand by that,” Moyes stated.

Moyes noted that the defender will go through classes to understand more about animals and how to treat them with dignity.

The French national issued an apology but he has been fined two weeks' wages which will be donated to animal welfare charities.

His woes continued as Adidas dropped the 27-year-old centre back as their client.

In their previous match against Watford, Zouma was included in the lineup which sparked widespread criticism against Moyes.

His brother Yoan was also suspended by National League club Dagenham after it was revealed that he was the one shooting the controversial video.
