Gor Mahia's Match Stops Midway as Opponents Run Away in Fear

Gor Mahia’s FKF Premier League match against Vihiga Bullets that was being played at the Kasarani Stadium ended prematurely on Sunday, February 13. 

This is after Bullets refused to return to the pitch after halftime for the start of the second half.

Journalists who were covering the match indicated that the team cited the dangerous Kasarani Stadium and fear of violence from Gor Mahia fans.

This is after chaos erupted as a section of Gor Mahia fans clashed with Stewards at the venue.

At the time of abandonment, Gor Mahia was leading 1-0, courtesy of a goal at the stroke of halftime by seasoned forward George Odhiambo.

Elsewhere, AFC Leopards came from a goal down to complete a double over Posta Rangers, winning 3-1. Their first leg match had ended 1-0 in favour of Leopards.

 Brian Wanyama, Washington Munene and Kaycie Odhiambo scored in the second half to cancel out a first-half strike by Cavin Odongo.

In Bungoma, hosts Nzoia Sugar rallied from a goal down to draw 1-1 with visiting Nairobi City Stars.
