The nearly three-minute footage was the first video to amass 1 million views on YouTube, breaking the internet at a time when Facebook and other social media sites were not prominent.

The video elicited a debate with people doubting whether the footage was legit as what the Brazilian attempted was nearly impossible.
The clip gained so much traction that 10 years later, Nike released the advert again to mark its anniversary.
