Salah Becomes First African Player to Hit 20+ EPL Goals in Four Consecutive Seasons

On March 12, Mohamed Salah scored a goal in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League. 

New signing Luis Diaz scored the other goal as Liverpool heaped pressure on Manchester City in the league race.  

Salah, however, was substituted after incurring a minor injury. Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp noted it was a cautionary substitution was to prevent further damage.

Salah joins the likes of Alan Shearer, Sergio Aguero, Thierry Henry, Harry Kane, Ruud van Nistelrooy and as the only players with 20+ EPL goals in four or more seasons. 

The Egyptian striker has won the Premier League top scorer award two times and has already scored 20 goals this season. 

This is the 29-year-old's fourth time in his five seasons at Liverpool where he has scored 20 goals. 

Salah has now scored 30 goals in all competitions for club and country this season as he continues his dazzling performances. 

The Liverpool star is almost running out of contract with his current deal extending up to 2023. Reports state that there have been challenges between his team and that of Liverpool.

Salah rejected the latest offer but was adamant that he will not leave the club in the near future.
