After failing to secure a place at the 2022 World Cup the Football Association of Egypt has filed a complaint with the CAF and FIFA regarding events that took place before, during and after the game.
The Egyptian football body revealed that before the match started the team's bus was attacked as people hurled objects at them.
The complaint also pointed out racism toward the Egyptian players with banners displaying racial abuse being all over the stands.

"The Egyptian Football Federation has filed an official complaint against its Senegalese counterpart to the match observer and security officer, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the International Football Association (FIFA), for the attack on the coach before the start of the match of the two teams, which was valid for the return of the qualifying round to the World Cup.
The Egyptian team was subjected to racism after offensive banners for the players appeared on the stands of the stadium, in particular Mohamed Salah, the team leader, documented with images and videos attached to the complaint," the statement read.
The Pharaohs were beaten 3-1 on penalties by Senegal who also outclassed them during AFCON finals staged in Cameroon to be crowned African Champions.
In the other World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Nigeria, there was also violence as angry fans stormed into the pitch after the Super Eagles failed to qualify.
The unruly fans attacked the players and also vandalised the stadium with reports confirming that a Zambian doctor lost his life in the commotion.
FIFA and CAF are yet to issue any statements in regard to the ugly scenes witnessed on the continent as Africa's giants scrambled for a slot in Qatar later this year.
