Brazil Makes History as Only Team to Play in All FIFA World Cups

It is every country's dream to participate in the world’s biggest football tournament: the World Cup 

Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup with 27 out of 32 countries having secured their spots. The host nation always gets a direct ticket to the tournament as other teams battle each other for the remaining 31 spots. 

On Tuesday, March 29, various teams secured their place in the upcoming November/December tournament.

South American Giants, Brazil booked their ticket to the World Cup in Qatar on November 12, 2021 after a 1-0 win over Colombia. 

The Little Canary on March 29, also set a new record in CONMEBOL, after finishing with 45 points, beating the previous record held by Argentina who garnered 43 points in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. 

Brazil handed Bolivia a 4-0 defeat as they played their last group stage match. 

The Selecao finished the qualifiers without losing a single match, recording 13 wins in 16 matches and conceding only five goals. 

Brazil also was the first team to qualify for the World Cup, not only from South America, to qualify but also in the Western Hemisphere.
