Former Harambee Stars head coach James Nandwa has been relieved of his duties by National Super League side Dandora Love.
Nandwa together with the club’s team manager, Kevin Wandera, was shown the door for insubordination and contempt of court.
The court had ordered Dandora Love not to play the match on May 25, a few hours before their league match where they were to host Migori Youth at Camp Toyoyo.

The game was however played with Migori Youth handing the host a 5-1 defeat.
According to a statement from Raphael Munjal, the owner of Dandora Love, the orders from the Tribunal were shared with the duo on time and the decision by the technical bench to parade players on the pitch was inexcusable.
“After we obtained the orders from the tribunal, I immediately shared them with the team and therefore, I did not expect them to play the match considering that we are part of the petitioners.
"The buck stops with the coach and the team manager who are both tasked with not only coaching but ensuring that players respect such orders,” the club owner stated.
In April 2014, AFC relieved Nandwa together with other members of the technical bench save for goalkeeping coach, Washington Muhanji.
He was however appointed as an assistant to the then Stars head coach Adel Amrouche but dropped later.
The former AFC Leopards’ coach was reported to have absconded his duties at a time Harambee Stars were preparing for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Comoros on May 18 in Nairobi.
Amrouche noted that Nandwa was missing from the training camp for a long time, forcing the national team to release him.
In 2012 Nandwa who was the stand-in coach for Harambee Stars led the team to the final of the regional Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup tournament held in Uganda.
Kenya lost 2-1 in the match played at Namboole Stadium in Kampala.
