Antonio Conte loves the pace and counter-attacking football, often drilling his team into a defensive shape. His style of football demands players to run always and to be in shape.

Conte, who joined Tottenham, mid-season enforced his brutal training philosophies during the club's pre-season training in Seoul, South Korea.

Spurs players were seen falling to the ground after an intense training session on Monday, July 11.

Conte had his players run 42 pitch-long runs for two and a half hours, an estimated 4,914 metres.

Tottenham conducted their open training session in the Seoul World Cup Stadium in the presence of 6,000 Korean fans who witnessed their star Son Heung-min collapse at the edge of the pitch.

Son appeared to be in real discomfort as he rolled over on the ground after completing the session.

The South Korean star, known to have undergone military training, sought the help of talisman Harry Kane who had collapsed and thrown up on the touchline earlier on.

Fitness coach Gian Piero Ventrone, popularly known as 'The Marine', was in charge of the brutal drills, under Conte's watchful eye.

The 62-year-old Napoli-born fitness coach was spotted rallying the fans to cheer the team to complete the drills.

Tottenham will face a joint K-League (South Korean league) 11 aside, Sevilla, Rangers and Roma in their pre-season tour before welcoming Southampton at home in their first English Prime League fixture.

Spurs finished 4th last season, qualifying for the Uefa Champions League, ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United who came 5th and 6th respectively.
