AS Roma tactician Jose Mourinho suggested after their 3-0 win over AC Monza that Argentina national men’s football team head coach Lionel Scaloni should send him bottles of wine for helping Paulo Dybala re-discover his form.

Speaking after the win, the Portuguese international stated that his new signing has improved his game since joining As Roma.

"He has a history of injuries, but he’s improving now. I think this is a sign of what is to come in Qatar for the World Cup.

"Maybe Lionel Scaloni should send me a few bottles of wine, because he’s going to have a fantastic player at his disposal," Mourinho told DAZN.

Dybala produced a spectacular performance in that game, scoring a brace in the first half before his South American counterpart Roger Ibanez sealed the win for AS Roma fifteen minutes after the break.

Argentina have been pooled in Group C alongside Poland, South Arabia and Mexico.

The Lionell Messi-captained side will open their campaign on November 22 against minnows South Arabia before squaring it out with Mexico on November 26. They will play their last group match on November 30 away to Poland at Stadium 974.

Dybala joined AS Roma from Juventus on a free transfer on July 20th this year. The creative midfielder signed a three-year contract that will see him play for the Italian side until June 2015.

The 2020 Serie A player of the year began his career at Instituto, an Argentine local club before joining Palermo. He joined Juventus in 2015 and went on to bag several titles with the Old Lady before injuries slowed his progress.

Dybala who made his international debut has so far registered 34 caps for La Albiceleste. He has three goals for Argentina with the latest coming on June 22 in their 3-0 win over Italy at Wembley stadium.

Should Dybala continue with his excellent form, Scaloni is likely to include him in his squad as Argentina works hard to chase the elusive FIFA World Cup title.
