Kenya’s tennis teen star Angela Okutoyi alongside her Polish partner Malwina Rowinska are through to the finals of the Girls Doubles in the J1 Repentigny tournament in Canada.
Okutoyi and her partner were given a walkover after the Canadian duo of Ellie Daniels and Alexia Jacobs decided to quit and travel for the US Open.
The two will face Ella Seidel from Germany and Amelia Waligora from Belgium in the finals.

The final is scheduled for Friday, September 2, after which she will fly to the US Open, where she is in the main draw at Flushing Meadows.
Okutoyi has already won one double final in which she partnered with Dutch tennis star Rose Marie Nijkamp at the Wimbledon Opens girls’ tournament.
The 18-year-old tennis sensation before leaving for Canada noted that she was using the tournament to build her confidence in the singles.
She was, however, not successful in the singles after she suffered a loss in the third round to Slovakian Ela NalaMilic.
As she heads for the US open Okutoyi is hopeful to meet her tennis idol Serena Williams who will be retiring after the event.
US Open will be Okutoyi’s fourth junior grand slam event.
