
Youssoufa Moukoko came off the bench to net a late winner for Borussia Dortmund in an emotional derby against arch-rivals Schalke 04 held at the Signal Iduna Park in Germany.
The 17-year-old netted a marvelous header twelve minutes before the end of regulation time after receiving a lovely pass from Marius Wolf.
In 2020, Schalke 04 fans directed nasty racial insults to the German teenager after he netted a hat-trick in Dortmund’s 3-2 win over their Under 19 side.

Schalke O4 issued a statement in the aftermath of the racial incident apologizing on behalf of their fans.
"We can only apologise for the behaviour of some of our fans towards Youssoufa #Moukoko at today's U19s match. Derby emotions aside, we completely condemn and oppose such insults.
"We and @s04fanbelange will take the necessary measures," read a statement from Schalke O4 then.
By netting the lone goal, Moukoko became the youngest scorer in one of the world's most exciting derbies.
His goal earned Dortmund the much-needed three points which saw them climb to the top of the 2022/2023 Bundesliga standings.
Borussia Dortmund's title rivals Bayern Munich suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Augsburg. Mergim Berisha’s strike in the 59th minute was enough to silence the Julian Nagelsmann side.
Moukoko who was born in Yaounde, Cameroon has already represented the Germany national team at the Under 21 category.
Despite the win, Dortmund fans moved out of the Signal Iduna Park in low spirits because their skipper Marco Reus was carried out of the field in the first half after picking a nasty injury.
